Dear Joyce, We express our deepest sympathies with the loss of John. It was our pleasure to have met you both in Myrtle Beach. We have some nice memories, singing on Friday nights, and stopping to visit after a walk on the beach where he and you sat near the shore. He was a good man, a good sense of humor, and a gentle man. He will be truly missed. God Bless you, Mary Lou and Pat and your entire family.

Joyce and family,
Although it was expected it still causes much grief when you loose someone as kind and gentle as John. We didn't get to know you as well as some of the other Grande Shores gang we certainly appreciated Johns singing and his gentle humor. He was well loved and he will be missed. please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss.

Dear Joyce,  You and John have been such wonderful neighbors for 30+ years. We've enjoyed many visits and tales/tails of travels, gardening and backyard critters---the fox family, skunks, woodchucks under the porch, zillions of rabbits and hummingbirds.  We'll miss John! Please don't hesitate to call on us when you need a neighborly hand, like when the power goes out.  Love and prayers to you and your family,   Sue and Rich

It was with much sadness when we recieved the notification of our dear friend's passing. It remains now to cherish the memories of many fond moments we had spent in John's presence. Remembering the soft gentle voice as he sang at our weekly Friday night Kareoke at the Shores. We will remember him.

Joyce and Family,
John was a mountain of a man. I don''t mean his size, I am talking about his heart. I will never forget John telling me, not asking me, that I was going to his house for Christmas morning when he found out I was going to be alone that morning. That is who he was. He became a mentor for me , as the kind of man I wanted to be. I wish you comfort at this difficult time.
                                            Sincerly,
                                            Chris Ballard
