I'm sorry for your loss. Mere words cannot convey the overwhelming feelings of shock, disbelief, numbness, and despair that can result from such tragic, unexpected losses. However, even when the death of a loved one is expected, as might be the case after a long illness, grief can still be very intense. No one is ever totally prepared for the death of a loved one. At such times, we need to go to God’s Word for comfort. Revelation 21:4: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

I am sorry to learn of Kurt's passing at such a young age. I never knew that he had served our country as a United States Marine so if he can read this "thank you for protecting us."

Randy, my dear friend...what can I say? I'm just so sad you have left us. I've known you for more than 30 years and have endless, wonderful memories with you. I will never forget the sound of your laugh, the strut in your walk, the twinkle in your eye, your unbelievable creative talent, fantastic sense of humor and your tremendous heart. You were a great father to your daughter and just a really great friend. I'll always cherish the memories of our friendship including our Sunday rides, the many concerts, our trip to Chicago, Father's day fishing, camping, the "Bad Machine", and mostly laughing until we cried. You will always be missed and will NEVER be forgotten. Love you, my friend. Rest peacefully.
