Lynn was a good man. A man of much knowledge, wisdom, and many talents. I wish we would have been closer. However, he was an awesome Grandfather to all our children. I will always respect him for that, for his solitude in character, morals, and values, and his dedication to extreme hard work.

Miss you, Lynn.

Colin

To the family of Lynn: I am so sorry to have seen this so late. Though I now live in Tennessee, I had always relied on Lynn to survey my properties in the Apalachin area. I still have his drawings in my files and was looking to get some work done, by him of course, and discovered that he is no longer surveying here on earth. His kindness and his accuracy made me stick with him throughout these years. I am 68 now and I finally realize that the earth gives to those that deserve it and are willing to deal with all types of people with joy, and Lynn did. Lynn was a gem to do business with and I tearfully miss him. Thank you for allowing me these few words to say for a truly great man.

How kind of you to post your very kind and much appreciated condolences. I miss my husband and you recognize his talent. You should be able to locate his records at Keystone Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors in Binghamton to whom he sold his business . Rod Carey is the head of their surveying department. There will never be another surveyor such as Lynn. Thank you. Sincerely, Reita Pullis

My darling Uncle Lynn, always lighting up my life with your wry humor and unique perspective. You have been my hero from the time you gave Hilary and I our first dog without asking mom and dad first. You treated me like a big ggirl, letting me work on your models and folding really cool, complicated paper airplanes. You taught me to really look at the world around me, to love nature, to make bold life choices, to be patient with myself when I fall short as a parent or in my self-expectations. Thank you for all those long phone conversations. Thank mikyou for believing that my life is like a golden thread. You surely helped me get through my first years as a single parent. Your love and your wise words are always with me. You helped me to be happy with myself. Just the thought of you makes me laugh, you wonderful, difficult, grumpy, joyous man. Thank you, I love you, Gretchen

Reita and Family, I am so sorry to read of Lynn's passing. I remeber meeting him many years ago when he did some work for my father, and then connecting again when you and I worked together. Always such a kind man and the best at his work. You are in my prayers.

Rita and Family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. Working for Lynn was very rewarding. He was well respected in the survey world and taught me so much. He helped set my career path as I continue in the survey mapping field today. We both enjoyed bow hunting and I still use the safety harness he designed and made with parachute quick releases… It's one of a kind and my buddies envy it as we put up tree stands! I will cherish it and pass it on to my son one day!

Again, I'm sorry for your loss!

James

Gary, I'm glad I got to meet your Dad. I only spent a couple of hours with him but it was a good couple of hours and I learned a whole lot from him in that short time. He was a unique and interesting person.

Gary, Jessica, Emily & Logan,

A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,

And as the days
passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches
straight and tall

One day, a beam of light
shone through a crevice
that had opened wide

The rose bent gently
towards its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side.

Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted the rose blooms there
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God’s own loving care.

Thinking of you
With Heartfelt Sympathy.

Uncle Lynn, I remember the year daddy was in Nam and mother, Patti and I went to Pa. for the summer. You came down. You taught Patti and I how toplay poker. I also remember the times you and Reita came to visit. Always enjoyed your stories. Katelynn says to tell you" Thank You" for the book. And for letting her use your camera. How honored she felt that you let this young girl "play" with your camera. Good times Uncle, good times. You will be missed. Tell that "favorite" sister of yours Hi and we miss her.

Rita & Family,

I am saddened by this news. Lynn was a great surveyor. I consider my time employed there as one of the better experiences in my life. Not always easy, but a great experience. Lynn taught me a lot and I use many of his teachings and philosophies in my daily life as a surveyor.

My condolences to all of you.
