Mina was a dear dear friend and distant cousin. I will always cherish our visits and phone calls. She had a rare quality of becoming an instant friend when you met her.

My condolences to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by us all.

Not sure who to call at 4:30 now that you are gone. Will be thinking of you at that time every day at that time. So many memories. Always remember coming home from Cooperstown with you and seeing the northern Lights. Miss you much, you were like a second mother.

Dear Aunt Mina, Thank you for everything you have done for all of us over the years. Thank you for the long talks we had. I will miss you so much! I am so happy that I got to bring Mason to visit you on Mother's day and he was able to put a big smile on your face. You were the strongest woman I have ever known and I have looked up to you for years and you have helped me become the woman that I am today. You deserve this rest, even if you will be missed here. I love you so much, you were always a second mother to me, and I will miss you terribly.

Aunt Mina. Thank you for being you. And allowing me to become so close. And trusting me. And yes, I do understand your pain. We've shared a lot, you and I. Miss you, love you.

Aunt Mina, I miss you so much already. Pearl sends her condolences as well. Would that we had been able to get back there to see her and the rest of y'all much more often. But now, I pray, she's reunited with mom, her other siblings and her own parents. What a reunion to attend!!!

Of all my aunts and uncles, Aunt Mina stands head and shoulders over each of 'em!!! I love her and miss her even more now, knowing that I can't just pick up the phone and call her anymore. Rest in peace, Aunt Mina. God willing, we'll see you soon.
