I always enjoyed Ed. We talked many times of pianos, of course! We shared many conversations at The Whole in the Wall Restaurant. A friendlier guy never existed! So sorry for your loss.

My favorite shifts working at the Whole in the Wall (Binghamton) were the nights Ed was there playing the piano. He brought such joy and life to the place as he played and interacted with the staff and customers. We shared a love for Nat King Cole and he would always save me a song for the end of the night. Unforgettable, Ed, that's what you are. xo love to all of his family.

I got to know Ed at my family's restaurant over the course of ten years or so...he was one of the most genuine, serene, good-natured guys I ever met there--or anywhere, for that matter.  It was always good to talk with Ed, even if just to exchange pleasantries on a busy Friday night.  He always had something positive to say and looked you right in the eyes--with a big, warm grin.  God bless you, Ed!

Didn't know Ed very well.. but he would sub teach here and there.  He always had a grandfatherly kindness to him and was well respected.  I was amazed to see him years later play piano.. had no idea how talented he was.  God Bless him and his family.

Shall remember Mr. Abram making a point of attending class reunions and always putting a heartfelt note in the Press Connects Guest Book whenever anyone from Windsor passed.  His kindness was always appreciated.  Thank you Mr. Abram and may you RIP.

Our deepest sympathy in the passing of Mr. Abram.
He was a very special Windsorite and spent so many years mentoring children.
He and his little "band" played and sang at our wedding reception 43 years ago 12/5.  He is now singing joyously with the Angels!  God Bless.

Dear Family,  I met Ed&Natalie in 1972, and they became good friends at the old Windsor school building.  We went bowling together and Fred&I enjoyed dancing to Ed's music at Danceland. He was organist at our wedding at Lourdes and I may have been the first bride marching in with a steady dance beat!  He even played April In Paris. We loved it and we love him for it! A man with a kind and gentle spirit. He is now dancing to heavenly music with our Lord....let light shine upon him.

What a wonderful man. I am sorry for your loss and hope your memories of his special life and your life together sustain you. I was privileged to know him and his presence will be deeply missed. I came with my sister to hear him play on my visits home and had him for two classes in high school.

Ed was my junior high wrestling coach in 1958. I always enjoyed seeing him at the Windsor Lounge, Hole in the Wall or at Chenango Valley State Park Golf Course. A life well lived. Peace Mr Abrams.

I remember Mr Abrams well. I saw him at a Class Reunion in 2007. He was a committed teacher. I was a JV team manager in 7th grade when I first met "Mr Ed"...he was always kind and skilled in inspiring kids to excel. I will never forget those days. My condolences to his family and all whose lives he touched...."Slugger"

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Abram's passing.  I (as well as my older siblings) knew him from Windsor schools, and then later got to know him at the Whole in the Wall.  On his piano breaks, he would come over and visit with us and tell stories about his high school years with my Dad and Uncle Avery.  Edgar was a gentle, kind and talented man who will be greatly missed.  God Bless.
