Danny, Andy and Mrs. Shuman, I was sad to learn of George's passing. I remember him from Temple, from my days delivering the Press to the house on Matthews Street, and as a friend of my parents. Helen Keller wrote, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." My sincere sympathy to your family.

To Andy and Family - my deepest sympathy. Your Dad lived a long time and had a good life - but we are never really ready to say goodbye. May all your good memories see you through the difficult days ahead - and know that others care and are saying a prayer. May God Bless.

I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes and the many conversations he spent outside last summer talking with me and my mother.

Very sorry to hear of your father's passing. I of course remember him from the West Side and USY days that we all shared many years ago.

Dear Andy and family,

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your father. His long life was a blessing. As a customer for many years - I will miss your dad's ability to bring old fixtures new life. He seemed to always have a spare part that he could make work.

Fondly remembering your father for his gentle ways, his helping hand, and his canine companions that were the luckiest dogs in the world. A life well lived. Godspeed.
