- About Us
At the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, the health and safety of our client families and staff is our highest priority.
In this time of uncertainty, we want to reassure our families we are here to serve you.
We have been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and want you to know we have taken every precaution to make our Funeral Home a safe place.
As we understand the human need to celebrate the life of a loved one, we are still holding viewings and funeral, or memorial services.
In compliance with edicts put in place by the state of New York these services may be attended by family and friends up to a maximum capacity of 50% (As of February 2021) of the normal seating capacity of attendees.
For visitations and services this means that guests will have to wait outside the funeral home or other facility if attendance exceeds the limited allowable attendance and be allowed to enter when others have left. Masks must be worn and physical distancing of 6 feet is required.
Live video broadcasting of services is available over the internet which will allow friends to share in the farewell.
Anyone dying of the Covid-19 virus may be buried, entombed or cremated. Proper sanitary and disinfection practices are designed to protect both you and our staff from any transfer of the virus.
We have raised our already high health standards by disinfecting both the public and private areas of our facility after each use and each of our funeral directors have received both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine as an added safety measure for us and the community.
Thank you for trusting us to serve you.
Kurt Eschbach and Benjamin Rangel
